Event Details

This webinar is part of the YEA CPD Series and will discuss Concurrent Engineering; what it is, the challenges and how to overcome them.

Using a real-life example that incorporates industry best practices where multiple projects are being engineered constructed in-parallel, you see first-hand a brownfield project management of change scenario and how Engineers today can effectively execute these changes through the Concurrent Engineering workflows.

In this presentation, Guy Masin and Mark Rowland from Hexagon PPM will share their insights into how how multiple Brownfield and Greenfield projects can be executed in an effective parallel manner. Hexagon will take an existing Owner Operators plant and use a management of change scenario for adding additional plant equipment as well as upgrade/maintenance to existing equipment. We will show how each Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor can effectively work in their own environment whilst sharing data with other contractors to execute a discreet parcel of work for the project plant update.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Why concurrent engineering is required within an operational Brownfield and Greenfield plant
  • What is required to support multiple Brownfield and Greenfield activities for concurrent project execution
  • How multiple EPC’s can work together in a productive manner
  • How to improve safety in the workplace through effective Management of Change (MoC)
