Ella Hingston MIEAust
Asset Management Engineer, Cardno
Ella is an infrastructure asset management engineer at Cardno, a global professional services consultancy. After graduating from university seven years ago with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours), she joined Cardno as a graduate engineer and has since developed into an asset management engineer, project manager, supervisor and mentor.
In her role at Cardno, Ella works across the water supply and sewerage, stormwater, buildings and transport sectors to maximise the value provided by infrastructure assets to governments and the communities they serve.
Alongside her role at Cardno, Ella is significantly involved in the development of young professionals, experienced professionals, and women in engineering and asset management.

Zoe is an experienced consultant, Churchill Fellow and engineer with a passion for Smart Communities, that is using different ways of thinking and technology as enablers to make the places we live more accessible, liveable and sustainable for all. The combination of Zoe’s engineering background and her ability to engage and explain complex topics in a friendly and informative way, allows her to offer future-thinking, useful and realistic strategic advice.
Zoe keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and shares her learnings through hosting The Smart Community Podcast. Through her boutique consultancy My Smart Community, she offers strategic advisory on dealing with disruption, leveraging infrastructure spend and major projects, smart technology in regional communities and facilitating genuine collaboration.

At Sedgman, Christian lead teams of engineers and drafters delivering structural and civil, design and construction, minerals processing and industrial projects in Australia, North America, South America, Southern Africa, and China. He has spent time working in Africa and China. Previously worked as a structural engineer for Wade Consulting designing industrial projects, and as site engineer for Lend Lease that took Christian to Uluru.

I became an Engineer to solve problems as I am sure all Engineers do, as an Engineering Leader;
