In this YEA Tech Talk Series webinar, we will discuss the benefits of artificial intelligence in analysing, interpreting information with an unbiased lens enhancing and supporting decision making within projects and organisations.

In this session, you will learn how Beca have implemented a conversational AI called “FranklyAI” to gather insights to increase community equity by bridging the gap between vulnerable communities and those how have historically been under-represented in community consultation. Explore how this software can gather and interpret large volume of raw data and compiles and further displays the results through the unbiased lens of AI.

In this webinar we will explore:

  • What are the challenges of using conversational AI
  • Demonstrate some of the technologies currently being used
  • How to improve engagement versus more traditional approaches such as written submission, phone interviews
  • Observe case studies in action, including integration of other consultation technologies and how it improves the quality of consultation outcomes
  • Current work being undertaken in Te Reo Maori, New Zealand and the use of AI
