Event Details

This three-part public speaking series is designed to develop the communication and leadership skills of young engineers starting out in the profession.

Our closing event for the series will focus on delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

During the session you will learn how to deliver complex information to audiences with and without the same technical knowledge. You will also develop a better understanding of how to overcome some of the common challenges that occur when presenting detailed technical content.

Graham Davies

Graham Davies, Resonant Solutions Pty Ltd
Graham is a Chartered Engineer with global experience in design, analysis, operations and project management in energy (renewables and thermal), manufacturing, transport and resources. He has had senior leadership roles in the corporate sector as well as board positions in NFPs and small businesses. He has a keen focus on innovation and has published and presented on issues of sustainability, energy, technology and economics.
 

 Michael Scott

Michael Scott, Jacobs
Michael is the South Australian Division President for Engineers Australia and has been a Division Committee member since 2013. Outside his Engineers Australia role, he is the Jacobs State Manager and Director of Operations for Transport in SA and WA.
His career has spanned diverse elements of the engineering profession from a technical, geographical and leadership perspective. Michael has managed regional and capital city offices, and teams delivering solutions in planning, transport, built environment, water and environment sectors. Michael gets energy from empowering others and has a passion for inclusivity and life-long learning.
